Water permitting and allocations are awarded by the Komati River Basin Authority. Water duty in the Komati. Sugar cane- 12 000 cubic meters/ Hactor/ Year. Other Crops- 8500 cubic meters/ Hactor/ Year. Water Pricing Instrument- draft stage. Irrigation District Charges. 2023/2024 - E300.42/Ha/Yr
